Flight Team Patch

The Super Mario Galaxy Flight Team Patch is an embroidered patch presumably given to Nintendo employees involved with the development of Super Mario Galaxy 1. It depicts the scene of Super Mario Galaxy 1's box art, with the addition of a few planets. Only one is known to exist in the wild, owned by Galaxy Master after having acquired it on eBay in late 2015.

Buzz Aldrin Zero-G Flight Promotion

In a promotion for the release of Super Mario Galaxy 1, retired NASA astronaut Buzz Aldrin is pictured in a reduced-gravity aircraft operated by Zero Gravity Corporation. He and another person whose identity is unknown are wearing jumpsuits adhered with Flight Team Patches.
